Structural MIG welder — Kaita

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Kaita, Katsina State. The job is at a busy production line. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration ₦500 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
