Heavy equipment operator — Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will work at a stone quarry. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day to day you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. Rotating shifts. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
