Tile fixer — Highland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile fixer in Highland County, Virginia. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Your main tasks: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
