Nursery worker — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a nursery worker in Clay County, Kentucky. You will work in a public park. On a typical shift you will cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
