Mobile crane operator — Shasta County

Join our team: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Shasta County, California. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
