Now hiring: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Manatee County, Florida. Day to day you will sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
