Now hiring: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Newton County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
