Great opportunity: semi-automatic welder (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Snohomish County, Washington. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
