Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
