Excavator operator — Furnas County

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Furnas County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
