Concrete placer — Scott County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Scott County, Kansas. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
