Conventional mill operator — Okanogan County

Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Okanogan County, Washington. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
