Wheel loader operator wanted in Gogebic County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. You will work at a road-building project. On the job you will handle: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
