Garden maintenance worker — Kane County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Kane County, Illinois. The job is at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
