Escalator technician — Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Washington County, Illinois. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
