VMC operator wanted in Vigo County

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Vigo County, Indiana. You will be based in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
