Moulder — DeKalb County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in DeKalb County, Tennessee. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
