Tower crane operator • Scott County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Scott County, Missouri. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals 2+ years on the tools preferred.
