Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Sterling County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Sterling County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
