Head baker — New Madrid County

Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in New Madrid County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe.
