The role involves hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies.
