Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Borsari, Yobe State. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
