Lathe operator — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Washington County, Arkansas. You will work in a packaging factory. Day to day you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
