Bulldozer operator — Rutland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Rutland County, Vermont. On the job you will handle: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Six days a week, one day off.
