Now hiring: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Floyd County, Virginia. The job is in an electronics assembly workshop. Your main tasks: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade 6+ years on the tools preferred.
