Machine operator wanted in Bronx County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator in Bronx County, New York. Day to day you will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
