Sewing machine operator wanted in Anderson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Anderson County, Kansas. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
