The role involves load and unload the deck oven with a peel; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe.
