Panel welder — Argungu

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Argungu, Kebbi State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
