Die-casting operator • Marshall County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Marshall County, Alabama. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
