Now hiring: road roller operator (Vermont)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a road roller operator in Windham County, Vermont. You will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
