Now hiring: scaffolding labourer (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Dickenson County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Able to read basic scaffold drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
