Blocklayer — Texas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Texas County, Oklahoma. You will work at a residential building site. Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift.
