Gantry crane operator wanted in Aleutians West Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Full-time with occasional weekends.
