Join our team: we are hiring a meat cutter in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
