Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Meigs County, Tennessee. You will work in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
