Estate gardener — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. The job is at a landscaping company. On a typical shift you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
