Confectioner — Humboldt County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Humboldt County, Iowa. You will be based at a cake shop. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards.
