Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Tipton County, Tennessee. You will work at a cake shop. You will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
