Core maker — Brown County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Brown County, Nebraska. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
