Safety inspector — Madison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Madison County, Iowa. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
