Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Mercer County, Illinois. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm.
