Now hiring: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Maverick County, Texas. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner You should have: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
