Finish carpenter wanted in Uvalde County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Uvalde County, Texas. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
