Die-casting operator — Hopkins County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Hopkins County, Texas. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
