Now hiring: we are hiring a cake decorator in Cherokee County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
