Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Cherokee County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Cherokee County, Kansas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
