Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will be based at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
