Argon welder — Trousdale County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Trousdale County, Tennessee. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
