Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Egbado South, Ogun State. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines.
